Suction Excavator and Operator hire is available on either short or long-term contract basis and can be available at extremely short notice, such as in the event of emergency service strike repairs or where the use of traditional machine excavator solutions for service exposure aren’t feasible.

 

About Us

 

Establishing Dig Safe in the UK in 2007 with this new and innovative technology, we have now been providing suction excavation hire for a significant number of years and whilst building both our customer base and fleet of ‘Ex Vac’ units we have gained a reputation as industry leaders over that period.

 

We currently operate from two sites in Colchester and Brighton providing excellent coverage for the whole of the South East of England and the rest of the UK.

 

With many year’s construction industry experience between them our specialist operators are highly trained and professional, having undergone a minimum of 120 hour’s instruction from the suction excavator manufacturer as part of a familiarisation programme to ensure they have a good knowledge of the equipment and operate safe working practices to industry standards and legal requirements. To also ensure Operators maintain our high standards of customer satisfaction, they are committed to refresher training on an on-going basis.

 

Client operator assistant inductions also form an important part of our on-boarding processes onsite, taking into account construction industry RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) stipulations.

 

Most important of all, once engaged with our clients we do our utmost to remain reliable, professional and flexible enough to handle the critical day to day scheduling changes that the utilities and civil engineering sides of the construction industry, in particular, demand ensuring our customer service is second to none.
